Headed to Bristol today. Gabrielle and I got our ID badges. Mine has a pic of me making a funny face, had to do it and the office lady loved it so it stayed.
We wandered a bit and headed to Juli McCarthy’s new shop and Gabrielle helped her out a bit with getting things ready, while I helped John McCarthy do landscaping and bricklaying out front.
Jess and the kids stopped by and we got a chance to chat and hang out which was nice. We even crashed the shanty BAPA class that Wohlers was in…too fun.
After leaving Bristol, we headed to Pam and Tony Camera’s house for Mitch’s birthday party. It was a great time with lots of friends. The lasagna was awesome and the smoked Gouda appetiser was delish. Pam and Tony surprised me with a Knights Hospitaller design for a shirt and vest they are working on for me…THEY ROCK!. They are also working on cavalier shirts for Gabrielle. Hurray for new garb.
We are also commissioning some work. Gabrielle found a 16th century Hungarian Princess outfit and they are going to make it for us…..so much embroidery…this is going to get crazy.
After leaving the party, we headed home but got caught in a wicked storm. It was crazy enough that Gabrielle felt better to pull over and let me take the wheel. We got home just fine and crashed into bed.

It was so good to see you guys this weekend. I’m sorry I couldn’t spend more time with you though. Once the season starts up I may actually get a chance to catch my breath, but I doubt it…
I refuse to drive when I can’t tell where the freaking road is! Yikes.
