Getting up early sucks. So I was off today, but had to make sure I got up early enough to beat the garbage truck and the recycle truck and the lawn refuse trucks. Carrying heavy bags full of weeds, lawn clippings and general yard crap is not fun especially when its raining. Of course, it wasn’t just like two bags no it was eleven…argh.

Anyway, beyond that spent most of the day with a headache just vegetating but did manage to upload some photo albums. Feel free to wander through the pictures but keep in mind I haven’t had time to rotate all the wedding photos yet so you may be leaning to one side to view them. Actually, that makes me giggle so I just might leave them that way…nah. Well, I am off to bed, as I have to be up for work early in the AM. I’ve been thinking of starting a nursing blog/thread, so keep a look out for that sometime soon.

So most of the day was spent cleaning up the house. It has been a never ending chore, but at least I am making progress. With that said, the day was pretty uneventful until John came over around 5:30 and Gabi got home around 6ish. Gabi had make vegetarian sloppy Joe mix. In the words of John, who is so scarily like me said, “I doesn’t suck.” And then he proceeded to have seconds and for a famed Omnivore with great tendencies toward his carnivorous side that says a lot.

John and I spent some good guy time drinking beer and working on my website tweaking things and helping me get my photo gallery functional, HURRAY. So ya’ll should check it out…it’s still growing as I add pics but I think it’s beginning to look quite nice. Thanks John…You Rawk!

For the last two days Gabrielle and I have been mowing, dethatching, overseeding, weeding, cultivating, sowing, seeding, fertilizing, mulching and every other gardening thing you can think of and we still aren’t done yet. Sigh. It has been a lot of work, but worth it to have the yard nice and hopefully we will have it shaped up nice enough to have friends over again for a BBQ. That is, as long as, everyone ignores the general state of disaster of the inside of our home. Let us just say that home remodeling is taking forever to get done, but now that I’m out of school there is a noticeable uptrend in things being worked on.

At least I’m learning a lot. I now know to not buy soil and mulch in bags from the store when you have a garden the size of ours 40 bags of soil and 40 bags of mulch is much more expensive than if I had just had bulk soil and mulch delivered and done the wheelbarrow and shovel method…ah well next time.

Well howdy all. I never thought I’d see the day where I would manage to set up my own blog without causing major world chaos, but nevertheless I have. I’m hoping that this blog will replace all the other sites that I had used in the past, such as LiveJournal, MySpace, Facebook, etc. All of those websites just became more of a chore than any fun. Probably because I felt more caught up in the popularity of who could I “friend” next or what new drink icon could I get or better still what would be the result if I picked a fight with my werewolf versus someones vampire…argh, it was all too much. It is my hope that if people are genuinely interested in my life then I should have a single place for people to come to see the chaotic effervescence of my mind.

Consider yourselves warned…I cannot guarantee that you will not be permanently injured by the outpouring of nonsense, illogical thought processes, and ramblings of a man driven to the brink of insanity by nursing school.

It is my intention to use this blog to better keep in touch with friends and family, as I am terrible at doing so through other means. I think it was the eight years of HELL I spent in the Postal Service. I will also be using this blog as a diary. It is difficult for me to let people into my life so be kind if you are going to post a comment. My mind is often a torrent of incomplete thoughts and feelings so I am also hoping that this blog will help me to solidify those thoughts, feelings, and philosophies into something that may help me to move my life into the next step or create the winds of change to send me into a new direction.

Oh and just in case you all were wondering about the posts below…I was able to import all my old posts from LiveJournal to this weblog. If you read them you might want to have some Tylenol nearby.
